Sid Meier's Ace Patrol is a freely available, turn-based airborne strategy game created by famed game designer Sid Meier, developed by Firaxis Games, and published by 2K Games. Set in the background of World War I, players take control of various countries and pilot various aircraft in a variety of missions. 

Additional content is priced at .99¢ for the Britain campaign, with the American, French, German campaigns priced at 1.29$.

Gameplay[]

Players take control of a squadron of planes in aerial combat with other flying enemies. The game includes several different types of airplanes that can be unlocked. Players utilize various airborne maneuvers in order to gain better positioning for attack. Planes can preform normal maneuvers, rolls, loops, and ace maneuvers. The planes featured in Ace Patrol are inspired by actual planes during the era.

Players can choose to upgrade their squad, purchase new abilities, upgrade their aircraft, and acquire new planes with new capabilities.
